Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure

Released in November of 2011 Skylanders is the next addition of the ever popular Spyro series. It may sound cheesy – but this is one kid’s game that becomes surprisingly addictive.
Why is there such a fuss over it? Skylanders is unlike any game that you have ever played before! The game uses a USB portal which is connected into the console on which small figurines are placed. These figurines then appear in the game! At any time during the story mode you can simply remove your figurine and then replace it with another one to keep playing. How cool is that?! There are over 30 different figurines to collect, each with their own unique moves and powers.
Not only is the concept of the portal cool, but the game itself is especially well made. No expense was spared when it comes to the voice acting. Players can sit back and listen to the witty remarks of people like Patrick Warburton and Richard Steven Horvitz (the voice of Invader Zim). Even though this game is aged at kids, it is surprising how immersed you’ll become. Yes it does seem cheesy to play a kid’s game, but seriously – you’ll love it!
